Have you heard of Project Based Learning or PBL? The last PD I attended was 2 full days dedicated to learning about this teaching method. The district was requiring a teacher from every school to attend this PD so it must be important, but what is it?
Project Based Learning is a teaching method that engages students in learning through solving a really life challenge, problem, or question. Authentic real-world problem solving sounds like the gold mined when it comes to what we as teachers want to include in our teaching.
